Hyperliquid: Current Thoughts
Why HYPE at $40-45 is a good buy.
sharing some current thoughts on Hyperliquid:
Pros:
- Best product in spot dex (supports BTC too!)
- Best product for perp futures dex
- Revenue buybacks ($85m usd in last 30 days)
Cons:
- Significant token unlocks happening from Nov 29th onwards (~500m usd a month)
The price is down as a result of recent market flush, as well as Aster & other competition vamping some liquidity from it. With that happening, Hyperliquid still basically held the $40 mark, now at $44.
I think it's a really healthy position to secure yourself a bag of Hyperliquid if you can. I think the recent "competition" isn't a sign of worry for HL, it's something that will increase the size of the whole pie.
As such, I expect $40-$45 range to be a good buy for HYPE.
If market stays healthy then we should resume back to $50-$55 per, and then possibly onwards.
back in March i proposed the idea of picking up HYPE sub-$20 when it dipped, so i think now is a decent dip for a quality asset as well
